McCain literally phoning it in today-'tele-town' hall meeting
After the Michigan stop, he'll host by phone a "tele-town" hall meeting in Virginia later Thursday and visit Hudson, Wis., on Friday.

Further illustrating the importance of Virginia, Obama will hold a town hall meeting Thursday at the Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, while McCain will hold a tele-town hall meeting in Fairfax, as well as open two new regional offices; one in Richmond and the other in Fairfax.

Okay okay to be fair McCain is on a midwest 5 state swing (because FISA and Medicare clearly aren't important enough to him) but how low on the totem pole do you have to be to not even garner an actual visit? are these D-list donors???

1. maybe if someone asks him a "tough" question
the feed can "accidentally" be lost while he looks up the answer (or asks Lindsey Graham or something).

2. It makes me wonder if the campaign trail
is a little too physically exhausting for McCain, if he's forced to wind down this early,it won't bode well for his campaign.Obama's relative youth may be a big factor in this campaign.
