McCain attacking Social Security & calling it disgraceful should scare away older
voters he may have had on his side.

Calling social security disgraceful because of the way it works where the younger worker is paying for the older worker and it has always worked this way should really cause some scare in any older voter McCain may have had. Pat Buchanan called it stupid as he said, the republicans lose every time they open this can of worms. Also, how would you feel if your social security was privatized and in the stock market as McCain is indicating as a way to pay for it instead of the way now.

Guess Wall Street needs more money. Wall Street to McCain.

3. You can damn sure bet he wants his
Even as a rich fuck he and the rest of the assholes in D.C. were complaining about their $5 co-pay going up to $10 for their health coverage (heard this on NPR two years ago) so you can bet they still want their social security in addition to their pensions. They're one of the few remaining government institutions that still can legally get both. They don't want the younger generation to have social security, just for them to pay for theirs.

5. Easy from him to say, he gets $58,000 tax-free every year!
He's 100% disabled according to the VA. Shouldn't THAT be an issue? Some of his disability is physical, but part of it it PTSD from being a POW.

6. If Social Security pays for the older worker, what the hell were
we, the current "older" people paying for all our working lives? We were young once, and as we aged, we were paying for this program all along. Wake up McCain, your goose is cooked. You are almost as stupid as the current idiots in the office you seek.

9. You brought up the same point Tweety did with Cramer and Buchanan, hope
that you still feel OK on that. Actually Tweety was really good today and having a blast with Gramm and McCain's comments.
