David Gregory tonight...first headline .re: Jesse Jackson:"Is Obama Glow Gone?"
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 05:06 PM by ErinBerin84
Hmmm, David Gregory. Did you not cover this YESTERDAY? Yes, yes I think you did. This couldn't be an attempt to defer attention away from your bestie's economic adviser fuck up, could it? (yeah, they'll prob cover that too eventually, but I just turned it off after seeing that as the FIRST headline).

...number of people who will find Obama more acceptable after hearing Jackson putting him down.

6. he could at least use the same headline and talk about
"The Left's" (as they put it) frustration with Obama re:FISA. But to have this headline in reference to the Jesse Jackson story? David Gregory, your days and rotten ratings are numbered....Rachel's rising star will eventually get rid of this ridiculous show (well, we can hope, right?)

9. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. But finally they're getting around to saying it HELPS him.
Sadly, though, I've come to expect this negative spin on EVERYTHING. Gregory KEEPS asking, "But doesn't it take a little shine off the apple?" Or, "But doesn't it show his base is really disappointed in him?" These questions don't even make SENSE!

10. lol! "a little shine off the apple?"
I have to admit...I kind of wish I could get someone to liveblog these stupid shows, because as much as I complain about them, it is funny to hear the exchanges some time. Did they get to Dr Phil yet?

12. I agree. They're getting to the Gramm comment now...
I'm sure they'll show the Dr. Phil response. They played it on Hardball and even Buchanan thought it was a brilliant response. :D

his next story is Obama forgot to ask for money for Hillary.

This guy is just a TOOL!

I called my Right Wing Whacko Bro In Law who works for USB (Gramm heads up the US operations) and he was shocked with the Gramm comment.

Obama's "Dr Phil" joke was a big hit. Harold Ford JR's idea of a big hit is a lime green backgrop and sniveling.

MCCAIN's the one who shouldn't be making jokes about this.

19. Agreed
McCain responded by calling Obama Dr. No. When you reference a movie character from 1962, you know your campaign has issues.
