David Gregory's campaign to succeed Russert on display now.
Jeez, what a weasel Gregory has turned out to be. He devoted the first 10 minutes of his program contorting the Jackson remarks into confirmation that Obama is losing ground with his base. On a day that the McCain campaign has shot itself in the head not the foot with Gramm's remarks and a weekend where St. John firmly grasped the third rail of social security, Jack Welch's newest suck up obsesses on Jackson and a tired GOP talking point.

1. Morning Joe must not have gotten the network memo
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 05:19 PM by ErinBerin84
bc even they were talking about how great this will be for Obama. To a distrubing degree actually..."Ooh, now all of those white racists who hate Jesse Jackson will maybe think that Obama is not so scary in comparison after all!

2. Was getting ready to say the same thing. He brings up Rev Wright every program. Now saying Graham
is not wrong in what he said. This guy must be working with Scarborough, attack Obama in the morning with Scarborough, then get him in the evening with Gregory.

8. I know it. Now he is going on and on about Barack not allowing any more interviews
regarding his daughters. The thing is he is not getting any of his panel to agree with him on any of his trashing attacks which is kind of funny. Scarborough in the morning, Gregory in the evening. Is this the stealth Fox network?

7. lol...and now Brian Williams is equating Jesse Jackson and Phil Gramm
"Members of both of their "teams" (ok, Jesse Jackson is on Obama's "team" the same way Gramm is on McCains'?) being criticized for their harsh words".

transparent.

11. Gregory looks like McCain, when he was repudiating his life's work to get the GOP nod
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 06:06 PM by TexasObserver
Now Gregory is selling his soul to the devil for a shot at a show beyond the election.

He was great as a White House correspondent, but he's a complete sell out now.

12.  That is an apt analogy . GE and Jack Welch seduced Russert
and now they are working on Gregory. Tim hid his bias better but David's lean and hungry look is too obvious to be missed.
