All McShame has is the M$M. |
|
The only thing grampy has going is the M$M. The M$M focuses exclusively on Obama, his positions, his comments and his actions. This tells us some things. One, they want to create the illusion of a close race. And, two, the M$M knows, as we know, that the next President will be Barack Obama.
He gets the scrutiny, because he has the job. Just as the focus during the Primary was on the Democratic Party. We all knew then that was the real election. McShame is just a place holder, a blip on a page of history.
Obama is navigating the political waters, and not making mistakes or decisions that could cost the Democrats this election. Sometimes he plays it too safe. He will make some calls that will disappoint you. He will make many more you applaud.
At least he shows up for votes. McShame is so spineless, weak and self-contradictory, he can't afford to vote.

1. The MSM has all the control and will play a major part in who will win the election. |

2. But the MSM is almost all you need...just ask GWB |
|
Would he have gotten a second term if he'd been under any kind of reasonable scrutiny by the MSM?
Instead, Joe L.I.V. is told that he'd be fun to have a beer with. Yeah, let's vote for that guy!
The MSM is doing everything they can to AVOID making McCain look bad, while they use everything they can to tear Obama down.
Will it be enough to cost Obama the election? Who knows. Things may finally be so bad that the MSM spin doesn't work the way it has the last 8 years, but it's still dangerous in its refusal to hold McCain to the same level of scrutiny as Obama.

3. You make some points in the OP |
|
But I also think McCain has so many supporters both in FRONT of the camera and BEHIND that they're protecting him to give him some sort of advantage. Which is why they're focusing on Obama switching positions and not McCain, it's also why they consider him a frontrunner, because it gives them an excuse not to cover McCain as critically. Also some Rethug talking heads saying 2008 is a referendum on OBAMA...which is completely asinine. So they're not only trying to take Bush out of the equation to help McCain (which I don't think will work anyway, because at the end of the day he IS the sitting President), but they want to carry his water as well.

that Obama's kids remind voters of...wait for it...JEREMIAH WRIGHT! God, those fuckers are really disgusting.
And David Shuster said that the kids' interview was a big long term loss for Obama because it "suggests he's even more tone deaf about the media than we've already seen so far".
David Shuster also said that he listened to Republican talk radio all day long today, and all of it was about the Obama kids' interview. Um, "research", David?
