Okay, now is the time for every DEMOCRAT to go after the media.

It worked for Hillary in the primaries, so why can't it work for us now.

This should be McCain's worst week, but we hear nothing about it from the media.

Every Democratic pundit, Obama supporter, and just plain Democrat needs to start attacking the media for ignoring McCain's statements.

Here is a list in case you missed what McCain, or his supporters, have said this past week.

A good link from HuffPo to get you started.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/max-bergmann/the-week-that-should-have_b_111983.html

1) McCain called Social Security "an absolute disgrace".
2) McCain's top economic advisor called Americans "whiners"
3) Iraq wants us out, which McCain agreed with previously - now disagrees with previous position.
4) McCain has no details in his economic plan.
5) McCain makes a joke about killing Iranians.
6) Last week it was discovered that the McCains hadn't paid their taxes on one of their homes for over four years.
7) McCain divorce account is different from what the court papers list - hurt his relationship with Reagans. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-divorce11-2008jul11,0,5924926,full.story
8) Edited to add--> McCain attacked Obama for not voting on Iran amendment. Problem is that McCain also missed the vote. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

I know I've missed at list five others, so please keep this kicked and add to the list.

BTW, Obama was attacked for days for repeating the same position he has always had on Iraq.

3. Bigger scandal everyone is missing: GAO found McC used undue influence on AF tanker deal.
See, http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-thu-boeing-tanker-gao-0619-jun19,0,3524202.story

The tanker competition has been heavily politicized, and the Northrop team's victory elicited complaints from Congress focused on EADS' European roots and the potential impact of the contract on U.S. jobs.

After Boeing challenged the Air Force decision, both Boeing and Northrop launched aggressive public-relations campaigns, publishing dozens of full-page advertisements in newspapers throughout the country touting their plane and accusing their competition of misrepresenting their bids.

The publicity push even spilled over onto YouTube, where a sarcastic video called "Merci McCain" thanked the presumed Republican presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, for sending "tens of thousands of jobs for the French."

McCain had taken credit for thwarting the original contract awarded to Boeing, the one that was later annulled.

After the GAO released its decision Wednesday, McCain said his concern remains that the Air Force buy the best tanker available at the best price.

Ruling wins praise
Several lawmakers from Kansas and Washington state, where many Boeing tanker jobs would be located, applauded the GAO recommendations.

"I am not surprised that the GAO identified significant errors in the selection process," said Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "The Air Force bought a tanker that doesn't meet their needs and has been waging a PR campaign ever since."

6. Pretty freaking unbelievable that none of this is being covered.
But I'll have to take your word for it as I rarely watch cable news, etc.

7. No.
It worked for Hillary because she was running against another Democrat.

It will not work now because the media is simply protecting their interests--and pleasing their GOP bosses.
