I wouldn't be surprised to see Israel attack Iran to try and influence American election.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Israel attack Iran to try and influence American election.
The last thing Israel wants is a peacemaker: someone willing to go in and talk and negotiate and try and bridge enemies. Israel's foreign policy is much closer to what McCain would pursue.

And, unfortunately, fear does help conservatives--so I wouldn't be surprised if an attack on Iran by Israel did significantly help McCain. Of course it would wreck what is left of the world economy, but who the hell cares, right?
