Why doesn't John McCain (Bush's best friend) turn up in the Senate to vote?
doesn't he think people will notice that he wasn't there? Senator Kennedy who is recovering from the brain tumor operation turned up to save the day!

1. You'll be surprised at who does notice--
Arizona Republicans do and they HATE him for it.

Even prominent Republicans have made public statements about it--I'm not kidding. the only way he keeps winning is that the Dems can't find a viable candidate to run against a powerful incumbent.

I think this is a HUGE issue; if he ducks important votes he'll duck important decisions that will lead to criticism. I can almost guarantee that.
