6. No.
The question is exactly as the OP posted it:

As Phil Gramm suggests, is America a "nation of whiners"?

Embellished with an image of a guy doing a crybaby imitation.

Slanty Slanty.

7. I just took a peek there. I would bet that most people taking that poll don't even know who Phil
Gramm is, nor what he was referring to with the whining comment. Stupid, stupid poll.

9. No, they didn't. It was another equivocal MSM poll
Taken at face value (without the Gramm reference equivocally tossed in) it's pretty reasonable to conclude that America is in fact full of whiners- but of course, that wasn't the purpose behind the poll.

3. I think this is a sample of those with household income of over
$425,000, and net worth above $6.5 million.

5. Less than 5000 votes
for a national online poll. Pretty meaningless IMHO. Maybe the freepers posted it first.

8. Right. Besides, the underlying issue is clear
McCain and the republicans don't really think there's much of a problem here, and so .

12. The statement on its own
I agree with. Taken in the context of the economy. I don't.
