As the LA Times noted, maybe it's time for Obama to take a well deserved vacation
Have a week at a favorite family spot, rest up and maybe do a couple of photo ops.

Looking through the media, the spotlight's turned on McCain- and what it's exposing isn't pretty.

Stupid remark after stupid, offensive remark -stories about his past (including the appalling behavior that ended his first marriage).

Napoleon famously said: "never interrupt your enemy while he's making a mistake."

That's sound advise, and with McCain and his surrogates showing no signs of retreating from their march of folly, why not take this time to relax a bit from the constant campaigning, run some ads and recharge the batteries for the final run?

2. I am loving that McSame is getting bad press
I hope it lasts.

The Gramm stuff, combined with reviving the desire to "fix" Social Security is super damaging to his campaign.

He can't give me funny material like "Dr. Phil" and then just go away for a week! It's hard enough when the DUzy's are postponed! :D

4. I think that Obama's trip to Europe and Iraq will give him a big
boost. Personally I do not see how politicians can stand the daily grind of giving one speech after the other. Of course Bush gave the same one so it was no problem for him.

8. Yep... like when you are winning your case in court...
By giving the other guy enough rope to hang himself. Idiots always talk too much when they are cornered.

9. I think this wiould be a good time for a break.
He needs it. He has been going all out for awhile now, and with the press giving McInsane a going over it is a good time.
