5. who thought we needed more "Obama's a Muslim" in the media?
Doesn't really matter what people 'need'-

What matters is what titillates.

6. Well...
After two hours of this, I can tell you that Alanis Morrissette's song 'Ironic' has nothing to do with irony.

8. LOL ... Certainly it is a hot topic, but I think all the discussions could be merged
into 3 or 4 threads easily. How many threads are we up to now? I've lost count.

13. Wow, you mean yoiu hadn't heard?
She's discovered a new yogurt that helps to regulate you. FISA gate and New Yorker cover gate has been so dominant here that it's knocked the real news off the front page Greatest Threads.

12. I think we need to make ourselves look as angry, knee-jerky, and marginal as possible.
Therefore we should start hundreds of angry threads on whichever topics suit us.

18. I don't understand why people don't post comments in existing threads.
I agree. I usually add my comments to existing threads on hot button topics. But so many people like to start fresh threads. I don't get that. Just pick one of the 17 threads already floating and jump in. Seems so egotistical to always need to start one's own. Too special to blend into existing threads?

19. I've not even begun to weigh in with my wisdom and a reply just won't do my brilliance
justice.
