It is not a personality contest between McCain and Obama. |
|
It is about which Party do you want to govern this country for the next four years? Naturally, the neo-cons would like to define it as a contest between two people, John McCain and Barack Obama. But it is much more than that. It is about what type of tax policy do you think is best for this country? It is about what kind of war policy do you want this country to have? What type of economy do we want to continue for this country? It is not about McCain and Obama.
It is about the Democratic or the Republican philosophy of governance. It would be nice if those philosophies could simply be ignored and all we had to vote on was a personality contest. But, that is a simplistic propaganda device of the media and the Republican Party to force people to forget what kind of government we have had for the last eight years.
