7. What makes this such a stupid remark is that

Arizona has a population of 6,300,000 and Maricopa county - Phoenix - has 3,100,000 and Pima County has 800,000.


so 2/3 of the state population lives 100 miles from each other and can be reached in 1/1/2 hours.


You would be fairly hard pressed to find another western state where the population centers accounted for such a high percentage of the population and was so close together.

Oh, say the odd trip to Tucson could be made in a hour in a Limo, but then that of course would mean she would be subjected to the horror of traffic that plagues the freeway between the "Gateway to Nogales" and the Land of the Lotus Eaters, Phoenix. She can measure distance and time, and correlates it to the time it takes to drive to Neiman Marcus in Scottsdale, so a trip to Tucson would be 50 Neiman Marcus Scottsdale Mall trips.
