5. I was scrolling through Democrats CLOSE to Obama w/Nat. Security experience..

And he fits that bill for sure.

YES, on one of the websites I saw mention that Chris Cilliza and ...someone else .. (I forget who) .. mentioned that he's someone that may be considered.

24. "I've never heard of him" which is why he will not be selected!
No popular name recognition, no way will he be asked to join the ticket!

16. I think Bayh is a homerun ...
1) I have long held the same opinion as you of Bayh ... Boring, DLC ...
2) I also have felt that BO would pick someone off the radar and that would peek interest ...
3) I think times now dictate different ... The MSM is just TEARING him apart every way possible ... He can not ... CAN NOT pick a woman other than Hill, they will KILL him from that point until the day of the election with the "he is poking a stick in Hillary's eye" spin ... That is an example ... Biden, sorry, I like the guy a bit, but he is too loose with the lips, even if he doesn't say anything stupid, they will find something innocuous and spin it to death ...
4) Bayh DOES have enough gravitas to swing Indiana to BO, given that Indiana is in his home field range ... It is close already, and Bayh is strong enough there to make the difference ...
5) Bayh is that staid, good looking in a middle state way, guy who has not already been painted in a negative light by the right wing/MSM ...
6) He also has some foreign relations creds ...
7) He is a former governor, in addition to being a senator ...

23. What part of my post did you not get ????
Don't give me this "politics of old" crape ...

YOU are a step behind ...

Sorry ...

I have been saying for months now that the "map" is going to change ...

In campaigns you have to have a longer range vision, with the ability to adapt as you go ... BO's sweeping change message stands, but has been muted greatly going into the general by the MSM framing ... I repeat, two months ago I would have blanched at the thought of Bayh, in the wirl wind of BO's "speeches" ... But, TODAY, with the framing the MSM is doing on him, it is different ...

Sorry, but Bayh helps him to "change the map" ...

If he could help Obama carry Indiana and put Louisiana in play, he would be a good choice.

Hillary, but I have always admired Obama and would never vote for a GOPer for anything after the last 8 miserable years.

19. ahaha........Former Senator Tom Daschle
who would have thought he would be the man behind the man, hnnmmm.....

not a bad pick, but I have an itch and for some reason it just cannot

go away, this itch is coming from up North, somewhere in Montana and

its looking more and more like a rash.

Must admit, its not a bad itch to have....really, its not, young, good

family values and will definitely take us to the next decade which is

something I know Senator Obama is considering when deciding on his VP

pick.

There....I said it.
