3. My thoughts on impeachment: it is, at this point, useless.

Bush is a lame duck with six months left in office. A bill of impeachment would possibly pass the House, but there is not a sufficient Democratic majority in the Senate to convict. The political circus of impeachment would be a distraction from the current general election campaign. The Republicans would be certain to push the idea that 'the Democrats are playing politics to distract from the weakness of their candidate in an election year' or some such nonsense, and the whores in the corporate media would be happy to help them (Lou Dobbs, Wolf Blitzer, et al). Sure, Bush deserves to be impeached, but at this point it is not politically expedient nor would it be successful.

7. I'd like to know just exactly what Junior and his Evil Minions need to do that would

rise, in their minds, to the level of impeachment. I'd really like to know. I'm thinking they've been referring to instructions on how to set up an ant farm instead of the U.S. Constitution.
