4. I could only dream of a ticket as great as that. |
|
The only question is, who takes over the DNC??
Who is worthy and able to carry on the restoration of the Democratic party, in the way that Dr. Dean has been doing?

But I don't think it's going to happen, but we shall see.
I really thing Dean is doing a great job in his current capacity.

Imagine this..... President Barack Obama. Vice President Howard Dean. Attorney General John Edwards.
Imagine heads exploding all over the corporate offices of the Whore Media :)

19. I wish it were possible |
|
because I love Howard Dean. Love him. But it ain't gonna happen -- he's considered too liberal and has too much "media created" baggage from 2004.
He's a good man though and I hope Obama finds a great position for him in the administration, or keeps him in a high-level position in the DNC. I think he's done a great job, and the 50-state strategy was his idea initially.

after he won the primary race.

21. Based on what? The fact that we "like" him? He brings nothing Obama strategically needs. |
|
I love Dean. Love him! But he does more for an Obama administration as DNC Chair than he does as VP, and he doesn't bring as many strategic assets to Obama's campaign as other choices for VP would.
We may love him and we may know his qualities, but he was pretty soundly rejected by Democrats in 2004. Believe me, I know the media screwed him. But it's still what happened. There isn't any particular part of the electoral math that Dean helps with and in lieu of that, he's also not a "celebrity" political figure with anyone except those of us who constitute his fan base.
So... this is pretty much a really bad idea and quick way to waste Deans considerable skill as chairman.
