When Has McCain Gone To Iran?
McCain on Obama during his stump speech today (and various times he's been making this same statement):

"I know that Senator Obama is going to Iraq. I was very interested in that he articulated and announced his policies before he went to Iraq, not after. I've been on a lot a trips around the world at your expense, but I usually make my policy statements when I get back."

Oh really?

During a stump speech in 2007 during the primaries, McCain had this to say about Iran,

"You know that old Beach Boys Song, 'Bomb Iran'? hehe Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran, hehe"

McCain also has said, very recently that he favors sanctions against Iran.

Really. When was the last time McCain went to Iran? Didn't he say he makes his policy statements after he gets back from countries, not before?

1. As I watch the American media falling all over themselves praising McCain

I am truly puzzled by what I am hearing. CNN and MSNBC, for instance, are repeatedly referring to McCain as well-known by other countries due to his many trips overseas. This may be so....although I don't ever remember him coming to my country (until his recent forray) in the past. And just listening to him and watching him, I find him the most unimpressive person. I just sort of sense that he is not awfully well informed about anything, really. Those eyes of his....winking and blinking and darting in all directions, are a dead giveaway to his insecurity, IMO. I don't give a damn that he was a prisoner of war in Viet Nam. It seems that NOBODY, and I do mean NOBODY, politicians of either party or media person, is allowed to say anything about him without the slavish hero worship commentary.
As far as I am concerned, the whole thing is a joke!
For everyone's sake, I pray that Obama wins!
