The case against Obama's proposal to bomb France, what Dems & Obama don't get.

I don't understand why Obama is considering bombing France, and it disturbs me that so many Dems seem willing to go along with it. So I think we must send these Dems and Obama the message that we won't put up with this idea of bombing France.

Therefore, here are all the reasons why Obama's plan to bomb France is such a bad idea:

I don't even know what "shilling" is but whatever. I don't stand by any political party such as Repub or Dem, I take ONLY independent because I stand by my own ideals and where that may lead.

As for a final statement on Hagel, he's been up for discussion for a while. I'm not a fan of him as Veep, however that doesn't mean his position and knowledge on Iraq and this war wouldn't help along our cause. Obviously Obama has thought along those lines and some of the other DUers who want him as Veep believe the same.

I think you need to grow up and see that not everything is black or white---but a nasty shade of gray.

Finland used to be dangerous but lost all of their intrigue when the cold war stopped

(Finland used to have huge factories that traded directly into Russia and was their major source of quality consumer goods. The problem was they were without competition and built huge uncompetitive factories that could sell only to USSR. At the height of the cold war land prices for an average little home in Finland could reach close to a million dollars. I had a friend their who I told sell your house and move overseas. He didn't and when the USSR collapsed the Finnish economy collapsed and the high value of Finnish real estate also collapsed. There followed a time where suicides in Finland were the highest in Europe. Alcoholism, always a problem there - and other places with long winters - became even worse.

Fortunately the Finnish threat is now history - lol)
