VIDEO: Obama Eats With the Troops in Afghanistan
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2008/07/20/vo.afghanistan.obama.cnn

A very nice quiet moment eating and talking, just spending time with the troops. No feeling of a photo-op at all... just a natural moment.

3. Wait a minute - something's wrong with that tape- Obama
asked questions and actually listened to the answers! That's not how George does it!

4. You're right. Bush would be holding a plastic turkey as a photo-op.

10. That's one of Obama's greatest strengths, IMHO
He listens instead of feeling the need to dominate the conversation like other politicians. Most political types push people towards their view in one to one events. Obama wins folks over by asking them questions and showing interest in them.

6. unlike Bush, he chews with his mouth closed
and he does not speak with his mouth full of food (and doesn't yell "Yo!" while eating a buttered roll).

7. Yeah, those were pretty disgusting and shameful moments for a head of state
And they don't even rank up there with the worst of Bush's offenses.

9. I am constantly struck by how EASILY he interacts with people. ALL people; it's Kennedy-esque.
So unlike the Monkey-in-a-Human-Suit we've been saddled with for almost 8 years...

16. I have to say I didn't like the looks of whatever it was he
was spooning into that big cup. But if that's what our troops eat, Barak's cool to eat it with them.
