Like Dobson was not going to endorse McCain. |

Dobson as with any other so called "Evangelical Leader", religion is nothing more than a business to them. They care as much about God and Jesus as does average atheist, even less cause at least atheists are not using them. All Dobson and other of his ilk want or care about is lining theirs and their family and friends pockets with the money of misguided and naive people that give to them.
Dobson, Robertson and all the rest are some of the lowest of the low scum bags this country and this world has ever produced.
If their is a God an atheist will get to heaven sooner than any of these hypocritical jerks!
Scum bags like Dobson are bottom feeders on the same level as child molesters in my opinion.
F all their ilk!

1. Blasphemers all. Jesus's sole demonstration of anger was at the money changers in the Temple. nt |

2. I don't give a hoot about either |

McCain or Dobson.
Why I have to read about those two here, I don't know?

3. Well it is usually not a good idea to ignore the opposition. |
|
I am glad people are posting ammo for us to use against people like McCain and Dobson.

4. It should be noted and discussed the waning political clout |
|
that Dobson assumed he had accumulated during the Bush administration.
Personally, I think he didn't have as much influence he once thought he had, since he was being totally played by Rove and other neo-cons to further their agenda.

6. McCain has obviously promised anti Roe vs. Wade Justice appointments... |
|
The only way to get Pat Robertson to give enthusiastic support was to do that.
If -- God forbid -- McCain were to win, you could expect the strongest anti-abortion litmus test for supreme court justice appointments ever seen. Even somehow worse than Bush, though I admit I can't envision that.
FYI, the Bush legacy introduced a new tactic in the battle for lasting control of the court -- younger justices. I wonder if that isn't the start of a trend on both sides.

7. I think Dobson was a little shocked |
|
At the yawns that emanated from everyone when he refused to support any of the GOP nominees so he said some batshit crazy stuff about Obama, which made some news for maybe a day, and now he's trying to recapture the appearance of relevance by toying with supporting McCain after all.
After all the crap with Wright and Hagee, and how the media weren't able to get either wackjob to stick to Obama and McCain (much to their disappointment), the media probably aren't going to be too interested since Dobson will look like a ratings snoozefest to them in comparison.
