The media is of course not being fair.
It never is!
They were biased towards John McCain,
before Obama left the country,
and they are biased towards John McCain,
now that Obama is out of the country.

Before Obama left,
The WAPO highlighted only the negative Obama parts of its poll,
Newsweek came out with a skewed pro-McCain Poll,
http://jay1949.wordpress.com/2008/07/15/lies-lies-and-opinion-polls-perverting-polls-for-proganda/

They Reported that Obama wasn't "funny",
and that Obama is taking a risk going on this trip :scared:
and that Jesse Jackson said stuff, and although he isn't an Obama surrogate,
they kept calling him that anyway.

and they report everything that McCain has to say about Barack
even if its a great big lie,
and the media doesn't challenge any of it.

And then they ask, why isn't Barack ahead by more?

What they don't say; McCain is outspending Barack 2 to 1.

Last week,
the week known as the week that should have ended the McCain campaign,
was barely reported on.
I'm still waiting for McCain's big "joke" to get some treatment.
That's right,
The media barely reports on a whole lot about McCain's mispeaks,
blunders and outright lies.
They try to laugh it off instead.

So yeah, the media is not giving "fair" treatment to our candidates.
McCain gets a lot of positive press, and the negative stuff is hidden,
meanwhile,
Obama gets the negative press, if the press can help it.

1. Well see, the thing is, the media won't just come out and say
"Obama is a TRAITOR because people in other countries like him more than Genuine War Hero Jesus Sidney McCain!!" They're doing it more subtly, and it's not working fast enough for the sake of the Rush Limbaughs. There's actually a chance that the trip might help Obama and they can't handle it. Like another DUer said earlier, "Pat Buchanan is probably sedated right now!"

3. I agree. They cannot deny what is happening
on the ground, like right now in Iraq.

They are scrambling,
but they cannot control
current events,
including MALAKI. LOL!

2. meanwhile, Obama gets the negative press
and the positive is hidden. Such as the recent fund raising numbers that were fudged three ways from Sunday

4. Given the recent Gramm and UBS revelations, it's particularly telling.
Screw 'em. McPOS can't spend like this forever...

6. I think McCain is going to keep beating the "fair coverage" drum, i.e "LIBRUL MEDIAZ!"
Their latest claim is that they were denied "equal time" for a McCain op ed to the NYT, leaked to Drudge.

'The Obama piece worked for me because it offered new information (it appeared before his speech); while Senator Obama discussed Senator McCain, he also went into detail about his own plans,' Shipley told Drudge in an email. 'It would be terrific to have an article from Senator McCain that mirrors Senator Obama's piece. To that end, the article would have to articulate, in concrete terms, how Senator McCain defines victory in Iraq."

Of course, a McCain advisor bitched that the "Times isn't publishing the piece because because they don't support his viewws on Iraq."

it includes the op ed, which is a stupid attack on Obama, does not really go into any detail, etc, more bs like "OBAMA MUST ACKNOWLEDGE HE WAS WRONG!", not an editorial.

The politico comments are priceless as always:
"It's amazing that McCain is polling as competitively as he is with this kind of egregious bias against him. He has to climb up the mountain that Obama was lifted onto."
