Robert Creamer: The Significance of Obama's Foreign Trip

Robert Creamer: In the United States, presidents are more than decision-makers and leaders. They are Chiefs of State, symbolic embodiments of the values that define our country. This week Americans -- and people around the globe -- will get a glimpse of what it would be like if Barack Obama becomes the personal embodiment of America in the 21st Century. I believe they will like what they see. http://nl.huffingtonpost.com/link.php?M=220080&N=543&L=2499">Click here to read more.

2. Yup, very good ploy here on the part of the Obama campaign
I'm liking the way they're running this now. Good job. Now I have high hopes they'll stay away from condom suits at NASA all the way to the election. Thank God Shrum the bum isn't involved.

10. Hillary Clinton agrees with Obama's view on Afghanistan.
What are you going to do and say now?

Senator Clinton Presses General Petraeus to Refocus Efforts on Afghanistan

Washington, DC—Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton today urged General David Petraeus to refocus efforts on Afghanistan to combat threats facing America’s national security. During a Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing to consider the nominations of General David Petraeus to be Commander US Central Command and Lt. General Raymond Odierno to be Commander Multi-National Force Iraq, Senator Clinton voiced her concern that efforts in Afghanistan had gone astray and pressed General Petraeus on whether more troops are needed to achieve the mission there.

“I have been increasingly concerned that we have lost the initiative, both militarily and diplomatically,” said Senator Clinton. “We have to have as much of a focus as we can bring to Afghanistan.”

16. You going there to get him? Or are you outsourcing that to some other poor bastard?
Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 06:05 PM by The_Casual_Observer
There aren't enough GI's over there to get Bin Laden? How many more will it take? How long will it take?

It isn't about getting Bin Laden. It's about fighting the yet to be undefined war on terror & Obama has bought into it hook line & sinker. Go ahead, support more of this stupid shit & see where it goes.

17. Obama has been travelling the world looking like a president
and McCain has been sitting at home whining about it. They really screwed themselves. They criticized Obama for lack of experience abroad, and so what happens? Obama goes abroad. The McCain camp certainly can't praise Obama for anything, so they're forced to complain about exactly what they said Obama needed to do. They look like total idiot assholes.

And the latest ad by McCain about how the media supposedly loves Obama? Even if a voter thinks it's true, the ad is what it is: More whining. McCain is trying to whine his way into the White House. As it's perceived, people don't elect weakness, they elect strength. Who would've thought that at his age, McCain could manage to look like a fussy baby?
