Did any of you see Lou Dobbs yesterday?
I was flipping channels and saw Obama's face so of course I had to stop. Then I could hear that Howard Kurtz (sp?..the reliable sources guy) reporting. He was whining about how unfair it is that the media is traveling with Obama and that he is getting all of the coverage. Then Dobbs chimes in that the media is in the tank for Obama and he does not know how they sleep at night! I NEVER, EVER watch Dobbs but I'm sure he spews that garbage every night. He acts like he can't stand Obama.

1. Obama took him to task publicly for his constant immigrant-bashing--
Dobbs has been on his ass for revenge ever since.

2. yeah, Lou Dobbs can't stand Obama, the general public can't stand Dobbs
(ok, I don't know about the public, but he just seems ridiculous to me).

Yeah, I watched part of Reliable Sources on CNN (which is really an ironic name) yesterday that was a long extended segment of people , including one conservative dude from the New Republic, and someone from (the conservative machine) ABC, talking about how "unfair" all of this is to McCain.

3. I saw a little of that
I used to watch Lou Dobbs but he definitely does not like Obama. At first he was complaining that he had no substance. When Obama started to call out Dobbs in his speeches regarding immigration Dobbs was besides himself in "outrage". He made a comment to the effect that the gloves were off in his criticism of Obama.

I'm really surprised at Howard Kurtz. His program this Sunday was also critical of Obama. Olbermann reported on Friday that McCain didn't get the same amount of press coverage because McCain didn't invite them.

such a whiny little turd invitig other whiny litttle turds to his panel so they can whine about Obama and Mexcans.
time for someone to kick his cottage cheese ass off the subject and go after him big time because he's getting way over the scary line with his hate

4. Awww, poor babies.
:nopity:

Lou Dobbs is great for mouthing populist ideas from on high. But ultimately, he's like that book by Greenhouse that MissLaura reviewed on Kos: fails utterly to provide any real answers.

"The facts have a liberal bias, so the analysis has to correct for that." :eyes:

That sums up the neocons' entire anti-reality bent.

5. I love that new segment on "The Daily Show"...
... where they have a Dobbs-O-Meter in the bottom corner, and the more Obama talks, Dobbs' head explodes. ;-)

6. Lou wants to change the name of San Francisco to Saint Frank.
And get rid of all non-english words. Guess that means Starbucks will no longer be able to serve 'cappacinos'

7. He's completely superficial - his idea of balance is that the administration

gets 2 hours on cable and then the democrats and McCain should get 15 minutes each.

11. The thing I hate about a-holes like Dobbs and Beck...
... is that they always claim to be independent and non-partisan. However, it's amazing how often these independent "free thinkers" manage to end up on the right-wing side of issues.

By the way, pretending to be independent is a clever trick that fools many viewers. For example, if you claim to be opposing both democrats and republicans when it comes to government regulators (such as the the EPA or SEC). What could be fairer? Yeah right! What an amazing coincidence that being an "independent" has the same net result as being a republican.

Also, what about being "independent" about the abolition of slavery, votes for women, the abolition of child labor, the 8 hour work day?

19. I flipped by the same thing. Never watch Dobbs after his near racist attack on Obama
the man is completely nuts and anti-Obama. I watched the Kurtz/Dobbs hatefest for about 30 seconds before changing again. It is unfortunate idiots like that are allowed on TV.

22. Dobbs said he was "through" with Obama
about 2 months ago.

He was dogging out Obama before than.
He hates Barack Obama.

That's why he doesn't need a show,
and why I don't watch it.

23. Lou Dobbs is a conservative that runs around claiming to be an independent.
He's basically a populist conservative. He probably voted for Huckabee.
