2. I just heard on my local radio station that NH is now a state of democrats |
There are more dems registered to vote than reps. AND I know a lot of dems who have not registered yet because here, you can register on election day.

4. NH has been trending blue for some time now. Problem is that Obama wasn't very popular |
here during the primaries. That may or may not change. McSame is quite popular, on the other hand. These results don't surprise me at all.
Did Kerry win or lose NH in 2004?

It was the only state that Gore lost but Kerry won. Sadly, it wasn't enough this time because of reapportionment. If Gore had only won NH he'd probably be president right now.

9. No probably about it. Had Gore won NH, he would've ended up with 270 EC votes. |
So for all the crap Florida gets, had he managed to pull out a win there...well Florida would be moot.

10. Yeah, but he could have lost in 2004 |
I said he'd probably STILL be president because he could have become president in 2000 but then lost his bid for reelection in 2004, which would mean he would not be president today.

11. Sorry, read that as he probably would have won... |
You're right, Gore very well could have lost in 2004, especially had he won the same states (plus NH) he won in 2000.

12. ridiculous assertion. Obama was indeed popular during the primary |
he lost narrowly tto Hillary. That hardly makes him unpopular.

13. Yeah, but McSame has always had a big following in NH |
So Obama will need to work hard on keeping his lead in NH.
