Didja ever notice that....
Gee whiz, folks, Contessa's the best at "Did you stop beating your wife" verbalizations...

I'm paraphrasing, but not by much:

Candidate Obama's trip: A total waste of time or simply feel-good PR?

Candidate McCain: Solid Citizen or American Hero?

Another thing...why do these anchorPEOPLE on MSNBC constantly react to the "News" such as Bush stupid remarks (Mika B.) or horrendous 911 call replays (finding children dead, missing spouses) (Contessa and the like except for Chris Jansing who's been relieved because she was too competent), by squealing "Ooooh, this is horrible...or, I can't believe we're showing this...or, Stop That!" I posted one other time that they sounded like a high school girl in the backseat of a car in a 50's film. Give me a break.

And while I'm on the subject, somebody tell me why MSNBC is obsessed with incarceration (doc Block) and other shows which depict serial murderers and rapists. I know I know...if it bleeds it leads, but COME ON.

1. well ya know news exists merely as a vehicle for advertising
what did you have some strange old fashioned notion about journalistic integrity? tsk tsk.

I've pretty much stuck with CBS as the least worst network these days, and they have plenty of WTF? moments anyway.

2. The gross sadistic doc block-- appeals to white males 16-35 ?
I've wondered why that gross doc block is there. It seemed especially odd over 4th of July. Celebrating USA and then we've got the Doc Block where we used to have political comment shows.

Not sure if I have the demographic right, but it does seem designed to buy a particular set of ad $$ to reach some group. Maybe those angry white males watch Fox for news so MSNBC needs to grab them for other shows somehow?
