17. Well, in general, they're pretty much right wing douchebags
But their douchebaggery reaches a new low tonight when they will allow Glenn BecKKK to guest host Larry King Live.

I have been yelling at the tv in the mornings and my husband keeps telling me to just turn it off....the thing is I can't....I have to see how they think the public are fools...do they really believe the shit they spew...."Too much coverage for Obama...so lets talk about that some more."...and that darn mccain can't get his message out because there is too much coverage of Obama...
But wait a minute..don't they decide what gets covered?...they sure have been letting Joe LiarMan spew his shit minute after minute......sure can't stand that man.!!

8. It was just some of the stuff this AM...
Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 04:10 PM by Puzzler
... on the first hour of The Situation Room. The coverage (for the most part) went like this:

a) An Obama news segment (pick any one) followed by...

b) McCain-biased opinion/spin rebuttal.

9. Not surprising.
Not that it's been a bad thing, but the media, and I am serious here, has been pretty soft on Obama.
Obama has not been without some controversies (McClurkin, Wright, Rezko) but the media has kept those stores in perspective, imo.

I really don't think the media really knows how to deal with Obama, since he is trying to make history and all. But we shall see what happens as we head closer to Nov.

It's only natural that they do some spinning and rebuttal.

Is it against DU's religion to make an opinion?

I honestly don't believe the media has been all that harsh to Obama, on a whole. Like I said, some have, and always will, and some have not for now.

19. I agree with the easy going on Obama but not the why.
The media knows how to deal with Obama - alright - it's the lack of anything solid that would stick on Obama that is the reason for the easy going. As it is now they have to rely heavily on spin.

When they have something you'll see them go into overtime 24/7, whether it is a weekend or not (a good example is bittergate) they will be screaming that Obama is finished now. Then the next week they will be saying the same thing. But I agree, it's been awhile now for the 24/7 overtime group showing up. Maybe they figure they have time for something - still. The primary was more fast paced and one gate seemed to come one after the other.
