1. That is a false choice poll. Mcdubya is not getting media coverage
and it is to HIS advantage.

Is Democrat Barack Obama unfairly receiving more coverage than Republican John McCain? * 18858 responses

Yes, the media has a liberal bias. No one should be surprised by this.
80%

No, media coverage is based on newsworthiness. McCain is just not as newsy as Obama.
14%

Sometimes, but it's a long campaign. There weren't a lot of McCain complaints during Obama's problems with Rev. Wright.

21. They hedged their bets with the questions-
even if most thought the coverage was fair, either of the last two could be applied.

3. Ironically, they way the media is handling this proves that they are on the GOP's side.

9. This is another push poll. The choices are heinous...

It entirely presumes and promotes the notion that the press favors only Obama. This type of polling crap really pisses me off.

You may as well have a poll with the choices:

1. Senator Obama beats his wife regularly.

2. Senator Obama beats his wife sometimes.

3. How can anyone really know how often he beats his wife?

14. That poll needs some SERIOUS help!!

I've noticed that with every Obama story on cable news (MSNBC or CNN), that they always follow it with a story about the old white dude.

I haven't yet caught the nightly news with Brian Williams (NBC) since Obama left, so I don't have a clue how he's covering the story..

I guess the good things about these lame internet polls that the FrEAkers at LoserRepublic is that we see them, they disappear, and they are rarely if ever mentioned on the news.

firefox = clear private data
Internet explorer = delete browsing history

make sure to check "delete cookies".

You may want to do it a few times over and over because it will log you out of DU. *grin*

I think this poll is rigged though... it keeps showing me the same # of vote totals even after I voted from a different machine.

22. I'd say the media is FAVORABLE to McCain
Ever since 2000 the media has gushed over McCain being a "maverick" when in fact he's a hard-liner conservative who flip flops constantly and votes with Bush 90% of the time.

24. Ergo, McCain IS as "newsy" as Obama!
So what is it the "liberal media" is neglecting to report about McCain?

More gaffes -- like the one about the border of Iraq and Pakistan?

Fine -- give him more coverage, then!!
