Poll question: Who do you THINK is going to win? |
|
Right now, everything seems to be pointing to an Obama victory.
His foreign tour is going spectacularly.
Bush seems to be adopting some of Obama's policies while at the same time criticizing Obama for the very same policies. This certainly applies to the talks with Iran. There are other examples, though I can't remember them right now.
We all know that the Republican slime machine will emerge soon, with negative ads about Jeremiah Wright, etc.
We all know about the countless libelous chain-emails that are circulating, that are easily debunked, but that many people believe.
Many of us know about "voter caging," where eligible voters are disenfranchised from voting.
(Is the Obama campaign effectively working to combat this tactic?)
We know about questionable practices by the vendors that supply voting systems.
I'm convinced that in a fair election, Obama would win in a historic landslide.
But in the system that we have now, who do you think will be declared the winner of this election? Not who you want to win, but who you think will win?

2. You forgot "don't know" |
|
As in I dont know who WILL win. I know who SHOULD win, who will get the MOST VOTES, but I don't know who WILL win. after god knows how many stolen elections, I just don't know anymore. Logic seems to have stopped working about 8 years ago =[

4. It's a disgrace that we don't have uniform and verifiable voting yet... |
|
...and there will also be plenty of disenfranchisement ~ but you can be sure that the Obama campaign will have watchers in every voting place and attorneys ready to fight when needed. They've gotten this far because of their amazing ground game, and they'll see it to the end.
It's our job to get out the vote so that we win by a wide enough margin ~ by registering new voters, campaigning for Barack, and getting people to the polls.
(Election night tip from a young voter I know: Throw a returns party, but only for those who have voted. Peer pressure works.)

5. Am I the only cynic awake this early? |

The fix is already in. The big questions are: how will the MSM distract the country, and what, if anything, the people do about it.

8. Whoever Diebold wants. |
|
The MSM wants to try it's damndest to make this race look so close it'll be no surprise if it's stolen once again. Remember, the gop was successful in getting * selected, the worst prez in recent history at the very least. McCain's a piece of cake to get in if the puppet masters want him in there.

I think a lot of republicans sense that their guy isn't up for the job.
The wind's at Obama's back. Our registration is up. A change is at hand and voters perceive, correctly, that a change is needed.
Obama is that change.

Who will be living in the White House come January 21, 2009? That is the big question.
