Lose one for "the Gaffer"...
"Mc-whatever" is getting as boring as "blank-gate".

Let's cut to the core, here. The man is a gaffe machine. He is THE GAFFER. Homage to Saint Ronnie, and all that.

Let's hang this moniker on him, and let the age issue twist slowly in the wind - while reminding the Reagan cult that John ain't no Ronnie.

1. The Gaffer was Sam Gamgee's dad
and I'll not have you insult Tolkien lore by conflating it with any POS Republicans.

2. You have to be kidding. You would blow off hurting McCain for love of a minor Tolkein character?
What kind of priorities do you have? This is why democracy is on its last legs in America. We can't separate fact from fantasy, literally.

First, tell me, was "the Gaffer" even mentioned in that tedious, juvenille trilogy of movies? Second, what percentage of movie goers even remember it, if it was? Third, are you the f-ing copyright police? Apple gets to use "Mac", just like McDonalds. And they won a lawsuit to prove it.

Please tell me how many GOP morons even know what The Ring Trilogy is.

4. Could be. I'm rabid on hating the Ring crap. Maybe I missed the sarcasm tag...
perhaps the Dark Lord put an invisibility spell on it.

I'm open to being wrong and apologizing though.

utterly beaten-to-death archetype cribbed from Joseph Campbell?

Black and white stereotyping like Tolkein is the first step on the road to right wing racism/sexism.

8. Yes, Sam mentioned his Dad on at least one occasion that springs to mind...
...the only one of which that was remotely tedious was the final one..

Feel free to resume your elitist rant now... ;-)
