the success of the surge and cause defeat. He conveniently leaves out the fact that al Maliki wants us out on OBAMA'S timetable. Obama should really run with this-questioning if McCain thinks al Maliki wants defeat in Iraq.

2. That's a good point...
and the follow-up could be which wars he (McCain) won since he always says he knows how to win wars.

9. Exactly
We should make this an issue

This is a huge issue

Where does it state that Congress declared WAR

We can beat these Right wing thugs at their own game

Congress has NOT declared war on anyone

Its McCains own private war....

:hi: :woohoo: :woohoo:

3. The more McSame argues for the occupation the more votes he's
kissing off. Fortunately for Obama McSame doesn't get it.

6. Yup. And his surrogates are saying, "With all due respect to PM Maliki, we have to
listen to Gen. Petraeus..." That's a flip-flop since McCain said earlier that we'd leave if al Maliki asked us to leave.

He's finished.

5. Obama is cleaning McCain's clock on this issue.
McCain seems to have no idea what to do about Obama's succesful trip this week, so he just keeps attacking. McCain might be an even worse condidate than I thought.

11. Any talk of victory or defeat is bogus. I wish he'd start being called on it.
I would really love to hear McCain's definition of victory and of defeat in what clearly is an occupation of a sovreign country, where there is no defined enemy.

12. That's why the NYT refused to print his op-ed. He used those terms without explaining
what they MEAN.
