11. Now I see why most impressive leaders are tall

I'm short but as much as I don't want to believe it ~ Obama's height makes a statement in my eyes.

6. Obama's tall and Presidential, Reggie's way cool, and Jae Hong Rocks!
Three random observations.

Jae Hong's photos blow my mind.
Hope to see more of Reggie Love in the WH staff ...

9. OK, I don't often see people recognize Reggie Love here at DU...
Are you a fan of Duke basketball? We are in our house, and Reggie is one of our favorite Blue Devils. We recognized Reggie shadowing Obama some time ago, and we were thrilled to see it.

I saw Obama in Hickory, NC not long before our primary, which was in early May. It was not long after Obama had played pickup bball over at Chapel Hill College. He came to the high school in Hickory, it's got a pretty good sized gym. Typical setup, 2 sets of doors into the gym on each side. We were on the same side of the room that Obama came in on, but we were by the set of doors that he didn't come in. mr liberty and I could hear when they came into the building and met the local people who got to meet him privately - a laid-off blue collar white guy who introduced him, a local high school student who also got to give a short speech, and one of the remaining Tuskeegee Airmen, who led us in the Pledge of Allegiance which was very cool in and of itself. Anyway - about ten minutes after they arrived, while Obama was still backstage, one of the doors by us opened, and Reggie came in. I saw him, and I pointed at him and smiled, and called out "Reggie Love!" He looked up with that million dollar smile of his, and said hi - mr liberty was looking then, and taking pictures of him, and I said "We've missed you!" He said he had missed being here, and then I said "What were you doin' lettin' him play pick up basketball with the Tar Holes?" He busted out laughing, and said he'd tried to stop him!

Getting to speak to, and joke with Reggie Love was almost as exciting for me as getting to see Obama!
