especially to anyone we know who might be concerned with Obama's committment about Israel- love them all but the one at Yad Vashem (by the flame) and in front of the Israeli flag are especially moving.

8. The man LOOKS presidential, doesn't he?

Ever since I've been seeing the photos and the video from this trip, I've had such a good feeling. A grown-up is finally back in charge (well, not yet ... but you know what I mean) and he's showing both respect and strength to other world leaders. I'm not afraid that's he's going to say something to embarrass our entire country or do something to offend the rest of the world.

I know we've got a long way to go and a lot of fence-mending to do, but I have no doubt that we'll do it (assuming Obama is elected). It's nice to feel confident and proud again. :)
