I just saw my first McCain bumper sticker and wouldn't you know
it was on a car with one of those nauseating W'04 stickers. It was a 50ish male driving a Subaru in NC.

How can he have the nerve to "proudly" display stickers telling everyone what an idiot he is?

How can someone still support Bush and want to vote for McCain?

It boggles my mind!

9. Raleigh-Durham, but I don't know what he drives. We haven't
talked in years due to our differing political opinions. The age is right...

4. I pulled up to another one at a light the other day.
I yelled over to the driver of the PT Cruiser, "Are you sure you want to advertise to everyone what a dipshit you are"? Reply, "Under breath grumbling... Grumble grumble grumble..."

7. I saw my first, and only so far, while visiting Gulfport, Mississippi two weeks ago.
The driver noticed us staring at the back of his car and laughing amongst ourselves. Seemed rather offended.

8. bumper stickers can be telling
as I walked across the costco parking lot my little girl heard a dog yelping from a parked vehicle. There was the poodle trapped in the car on a 101 degree day (first idiot strike) in a giant gas sucking hummer (idiot strike two) with a "W" sticking still proudly displayed on the back window (strike three, you're out)

who you callin' "idiot"?

That doesn't match the stereotype.

Now a Hummer would be more like it!

13. I saw mine yesterday
On a big red SUV.

"How can he have the nerve to "proudly" display stickers telling everyone what an idiot he is? How can someone still support Bush and want to vote for McCain?"

He/ she is a fundy and an NRA member, more than likely.

14. I saw one on the car of a Marine who'd been in Iraq! WTF?
He had a Marine sticker as well as a Iraq tour sticker, along with a McCain sticker. I was dumbfounded.

That is the ONLY McCain sticker I've seen though - and I'm in Arizona.

16. I saw my first one yesterday, on a SUV wouldn't you know.
I sped up and pulled ahead of him so he could see my Obama (and other) stickers.

First one I've seen and I live in the reddest state in the Union. Utah.

21. I've seen no McSame stickers here in upstate WV
There are the occasional leftover faded Dubya stickers here and there, mostly on pickup trucks or battleship-sized SUVs.

By contrast, I've seen a couple of dozen Obama stickers, though, as well as at least a half-dozen yard signs so far.

23. I've only seen two while travelling the beltway in the DC area....
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 08:09 PM by Kaylee
I always have to catch up to them and stare at them dumbfoundedly.....I know there are more republicans in the DC area, I guess they are too embarrassed to show they are going to vote for McCain. There are always plenty of Obama stickers as I sit in traffic.

24. living in SC,
I see W stickers on a daily basis and have seen more and more McCain stickers lately. Just nauseating how ignorant those people are.

I put up my Obama yard sign today...only a matter of time before some yahoo repub steals it off our lawn...
