Does he not run the risk of striking too many - especially the purists - as a bit maverick in reality, sort of like MCCain supposedly is in reputation. Also not exactly the most careful and restrained in his words. Great for my POV on all counts - but too easy to swiftboat perhaps, with not enough backing from the far left to hold him up from this due to lack of gun control etc?

10. Governor Russ Feingold would be at the top of my list |
|
But two senators on the ticket ain't happening. Which is too bad, because who better than Feingold to point out how McCain has completely shit all over the idea of campaign finance reform that was authored by the two of them.

11. It's not a "realistic" VP poll when you mock hillary and supporters in it. |
|
Hillary's a realistic VP choice and a "realistic" poll would have her name included without jackass commentary.
BTW, if you remember, I was a die hard Obama supporter and no fan of hillary personally.

12. No mocking of Hillary intended. I do not see her as a realistic choice |
|
Any two senators on the ticket will guarantee a loss. History proves that repeatedly, and as recent as 2004. Hillary herself has far too many negatives, even if she wasn't a senator.
As for mocking PUMA's.... guilty as charged.

I prefer Richardson to Clark myself, but there is the issue of replacing him. That's why I didn't include Janet Napolitano in this poll, as I have in previous ones. Because, under Arizona law, she would be succeeded by the current Secretary of State, who is apparently a raging neocon lunatic. And that state has suffered enough, with McLoon and Kyl as senators.
