Senator McCain is willing to demoralize the troops fighting in Iraq in order to win an election. |
|
Yesterday, Senator McCain said that Senator Obama "would rather lose a war in order to win a campaign."
Senator McCain is sending a message to the troops that a potential (maybe even likely) Commander in Chief WANTS the troops to lose. Should Senator Obama win, we will have troops in harm's way who are under the impression that their Commander in Chief WANTS them to lose, all because Senator McCain told them so.
This is irresponsible. It demoralizes brave young Americans who are right now in harm's way.
Senator McCain should retract the statement.

1. "desperate" should definitely be the new buzz-word |
|
This, in addition to attacking Obama for his visit to the Holocaust museum, is disgusting. Biden and other attack dogs need to get on this.

2. Imagine if Obama had made the statement that you just made. |
|
Imagine how the M$M would treat him? Not only would he be forced to apologize. The M$M and the Repukes would demand that he kiss McSame's feet and his campaign would be over. The fact that McSame could get away with making this outrageous statement is baffling. But none of us should be surprised...

4. yup. The media would be "shocked", positively SHOCKED. |
|
I thought Biden had a very effective response on Morning Joe a couple of months ago when McCain attacked Obama for not having served in the military. Even as he prefaced that it "hurts to have to say this, since McCain is a friend, but I was really disappointed in him." Makes it a character issue while sort of keeping it classy. SHAME ON YOU, JOHN MCCAIN!

3. Media should be asking McCain: When is Leaving not Losing, according to McCain? |
|
McCain takes the approach that any leaving is losing. He cannot define victory.

5. Maybe someone should inform the Senator.... |

THE TROOPS HAVE ALREADY WON THE WAR! The only winning/losing to be had at this point are for the profiteers and right-wing politicians, many of which are one and the same.
STFU, McBlame :spank:

6. Jeez, and to think we thought Bush was the lowest the Republicans could ever stoop. |

I almost pity McCain and his grasping at straws; everything he's ever done in life has been average at best. His own party spread malicious stories about him and yet, he's more than willing to jump back into bed with them for the chance at seeing his name in lights. He's just a sad, lowlife character.
