A noun, a verb, and "the surge"
Is McCain taking campaigning tips from Giuliani of all people now? One is stuck on 9/11 while the other is stuck on SURGE. It's getting ridiculous.

Obama was against this war from the beginning and yet McCain thinks Obama should be judged on wanting to end the war instead of adding more troops? On the off chance that it might lessen the amount of troops that are dying over there? After the fact that we had already lost 3K troops already? Really?

Am I understanding this strategy correctly? Is this really all he has? Surge and drilling?

7. It's simple for the media, and their agenda. When Obama said more killing, he was right.
Instead of starting the regional diplomatic initiatives, started with the awakening and all that money paid to Sunnis to fight more with us than against us, we delayed it, and cost maybe more than 950 American lives, plus Iraqis, and no political reconciliation.

Yes, surge and drilling, and I hate to think McC's factually wrong ads on the environment gives him a jump.

What is this with Bob Herbert thinking McC's ahead, said on Hardball (with Matthews agreeing). I think Herbert's so afraid of a loss, he's preventing even hope about it. He also faults Obama for every media spin point, without independent thinking may be spin, and wrong.
