Let's be fair.

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., right, speaks during a news conference in front of Schmidt's Fudge Haus in Columbus, Ohio, Thursday, July 24, 2008.

2. You are right. And the turn out for his side in Berlin was extraordinary, too.
I think Rush's head finally blew off today.

3. Hey, his name is spelled....meh, does it even matter?
This is how he capitalizes on having the country to himself? A trip to the "Fudge Haus" while Obama is entrancing 200,000 in Berlin?

McCane...McCain...McCaine...it doesnt matter.

4. heh, I thought maybe it was a play on "cane", like "walking cane". Hey, it works...
I was hoping that "Fudge Haus" would be covered on the Daily Show, though they did show the massive applesauce spillage during McCain's grocery event

5. Who is scheduling his events? Is it a Democratic mole who snuck onto his staff?
Edited on Thu Jul-24-08 10:36 PM by Stephanie
And yes, I know how to spell it. I think McCANE is more apt. Maybe it will catch on.

6. McCane also made me think of the Fudge Hause...as in Candy Cane.
and Colbert did cover it, and I didn't even know that Lindsey Graham was there too...ah, Lindsey and John, they're like Hansel and Gretel.

7. LOL. I'll use McCane from now on. I was using "The presumptive candidate formerly known
as gramps" but it's a PITA to type all the time.

12. Gah! Get out of my hometown!
I went to school in The Red Barn (now an antique shop) right across the street from Schmidt's. The funny thing is that there's hardly ANY repugs in German Village. It has a huge gay and lesbian community.
