watching him repeatedly say that Obama wants to lose the war, I felt this loathing for him personally that is strangely familiar...

Then thinking back to the other things he's said and done, it struck me that he is a total asshole.

His joke about Chelsea Clinton being ugly. Think about that, he's a fucking U.S. Senator and he's fucking insulting a teenage girl publicly. He does it and it doesn't occur to him not to do it. The people around him fucking like it. They're assholes too.

His rape joke, his allegely calling his wife a cunt, which is totally plausible.

Seriously, can America take two consecutive total dickwad presidents?

6. I have the same feeling

I have had this conversation with several people. Most seem to think that McCain would be an improvement over Bush, that no one could ever be as bad as Bush.

But I see McCain as someone who is just as petty and mean spirited as McCain. McCain tries to portray himself as a compassionate guy with his quiet demeanor (hiding that temper) and saying 'my friends' as often as possible. But he is as out of tough with the common man as much as Bush is. He will continue us down the disastrous road Bush put us on.
