First Read: Even Karl Rove's electoral map has Obama winning
(There is a link to Rove's current map at First Read if you follow the link below). It's now added MT to Obama's base and ND as a tossup. The other tossups are the usual suspects common to most maps: NV, MO, FL, VA, OH, NH

"According to Karl Rove's new electoral map, Obama is leading McCain, 272-183 -- with 83 electoral votes in the toss-up category.

Note that the map is as of July 23, so it doesn't take into account the recent Quinnipiac polling in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. But per this map -- right now -- Obama could lose every toss-up state (Ohio, New Hampshire, Florida, Nevada) and still win the presidential election. "

1. Now, is that 'the' math or just math?
I think it is correct either way. Except Obama will pick up most of the toss ups.

2. Hmmm...
It's Rove, so all I can think of him having to gain from this is inducing apathy in Democratic voters.

3. I don't want to click on Rove's site to see the map
I'd need to take a shower immediately afterwards, even more so than after visiting Freeperville. :scared:
