Has sometimes DU favorite, David Shuster, dived into the tank for Captain Combover?
Right now it is 3.35 EDT. I have been watching him since he took over the anchor chair at MSNBC.

He has yet to say one positive thing about Obama. He has, instead, repeated every piece of shit RW talking point. He has argued with every guest who was presenting the Obama viewpoint and just hunky dory with the McCain spokesmodels.

Maybe he needs another slap and a month off again?

1. I think he kind of varies like Chris Matthews.

I have seen him be pretty tough against Repubs in some cases, and then the next day (particularly when he's hanging out with RW shills like Morning Joe), he's repeating the most convoluted RW garabage. I don't know. I just can't get the image of him from Control Room, with the "It's like the Price is Right!" line out of my head when I think of him. He does seem slightly better than Gregory when he takes over Race to the white house, but that's not really saying much.

2. He was never a fan of Obama
During the primaries he constantly criticized things that Obama said.

until after the election. He's just trying to hold onto his job

4. McCain had a horrible week. The MSM has to hold together his crumbling campaign...
To keep the election "close" and interest high, which of course translates into $$ for them.

Don't take it personally, it's just orders.

5. Duers aren't happy with anybody on tv except Olbermann.
Olbermann is pretty much 100% consistent pro Obama anti everybody else.

12. I cant speak for everybody.
And not everybody here has the same opinion. In addition to KO, I personally also enjoy Tweety and Abrams shows and even morning joe. Of course I dont agree with them all the time... but preaching to the choir doesnt satisfy my news fix in and of itself.

18. Can't argue with that
Can't argue with that-- with thousands of regulars posters, I'd be surprised if consensus would be reached that 2+2=4. There will always be that small coterie of self-professed "more clever than everyone else" who will argue against the obvious.

6. Shuster has said some stupid things but he is one of the few that will actually
stand up and refuse to simply pass on stupid McCain meme and call the McCain on their idiotic spin.

He may be one of the fairest of them all.

14. stay tuned...maybe Jim Warren will rein him in
they're talking about what a bad week McCain has had, though he started off with yet another "blistering" clip of McCain criticizing Obama

now he's talking about RW talk radio going after him for daring to admit America isn't perfect

Warren seems more Obama friendly than Shuster

I've said the exact same thing you've got going here in some other threads, btw, and I wonder if he's showing his true colors

19. Do you really expect to see ANY TV interviewer
say "Why yes, you're absolutely right. Good point. I'm convinced."

That's just not the way they do it.
