McCain: 16 Months is a "Good Timetable"
Maybe I'm missing something here, but did McCain just essentially endorse the same withdrawal plan Obama has been calling for for 2 years and McCain has been deriding?

3. Well, he's for Maliki's 16 month timetable but against Obama's 16 month timetable
it's really that simple.

6. He's against timetables, but probably for "time horizons"
Such BS. Simple argument, but that's all it really comes down to.

4. This is too funny.
Mc Cain believes the rest of the U.S. population is alzheimer's just like he is.

I recall a few months ago, Mc Cain said, "Obama is for the old ways and I'm for the new ways".

Watch, in just a few days time Mc Cain will be saying, "I was ALWAYS for a 16-month time table. It's OBAMA who said "Let's stay 100 years".

Just watch it's coming :smoke:

5. That's what Obama has been saying the whole time
In fact I think that he was criticized during the primaries for saying that it would be a baseline based on how conditions currently existed. Samantha Power was on BBC saying that Obama would listen to commanders on the ground and would change plans accordingly. He got roasted by many on this website for saying that he would change his plans based on details changing.

Thanks, McCain for agreeing with us. But you can bet that I will say I told you so.

11. He should stay with "time horizon".
You can walk toward the horizon as long as you want to, but it keeps receding so you'll never get there.

Democrats are flip-floppers. Republicans go with their gut and tell it like it is. The MSM told me so.

24. Yesterday, he was compelled to go to German Village while Obama was in Germany
Today, he is compelled to adopt Obama 16 month timeline for Iraq.

Tomorrow, he goes out for basketball and tries to sink a 30 footer.
