Downright under handed sabotage |
|
Remember in 2000 how nader somehow started gaining in popularity. more and more normally stalwart republicans would suggest nader for president? (Gore and bush were really one and the same, was what they said.)... thus siphoning more than enough votes to get it close in FLA and with the supreme court selecting ex-TX-gov-bush. ultimately defeating Gore, and giving us this national disgrace. I still say FUCK NADER, for even running. the last time I listened to any full sentence nader has said was how pleased he was to be rising in Polls.!
my suggestion is we turn the tables on them... suggest and push Bob Barr... he hasn't a snowballs chance, but he would make a good argument against the neo-cons and raciest persons. especially to republicans who don't like McSame...
do not get me wrong, I am for Obama all the way. I am just realizing to the republicans this is a street fight for president. Obama is far too Dignified to engage in propagandist, spinning rhetoric as McShame is just beginning to. McShame is hurt by Obamas trip. and knows it. Obama has (currently) a 12 hour delay to combat McSames lies.
so on Americas and Obamas behalf...
like I have said before Bob Barr hasn't a snowballs chance but could be used to siphon off votes from mccain.
before you reject this tactic outright, as We are more dignified than the rethuglicans. Think of it this way... any and all avenues to preserve our Democracy and the constitution should be followed. not breaking the law what so ever. But ultimately McSame as president will lead our Country off that cliff we are so dangerously close too.
thoughts? suggestions?

myself with Democrats, but I have decided if I do hear people despair over who to vote for, especially when you can hear in their voice that they are a scumbag racist and wouldn't vote for Obamam, I will tell them to stay home on election day. People want to take the path of least resistance and by telling them they don't have to vote, you are, in effect, giving them permission to not vote.

but not voting is a wasted demonstration of disgust. I am beginning to actively suggest Bob Barr to them in turn they tend to suggest him further through the grapevine. So still being active and exorcising their right to vote. as republicans will vote more often than staying home. with the wedge issues on the ballot this year they are to bring the crazies out. so let the crazies vote for Bob Barr.

3. It wasn't only Nader, but also letting the media get by |
|
with constantly saying that the nation was equally divided. It wasn't. People were too lazy to get out and exercise their vote. Once that myth was printed, it became an excuse not to vote. They are trying to start the old neck&neck, equally divided nation BS again. Who do you believe? The corporate media shills or your own eyes and ears in this year when people are begging for change?

5. the wedge votes will bring em out |
|
here in Colorado rethugs went for romney, coupled with a ballot issue to make a zygote (fertilized egg) a person in on the ballot. no one really likes mcshame. but will turn out to vote for the abortion issue. thus voting anyway. Turning them on to Bob Barr as an alternative to mcSame seems to be working.

4. Current Polls show Barr already with 5-10% in many Western states |
|
McSame is not particularly popular -- he merely is not Barack Obama. Neither evangelicals nor small government conservatives are sold on him.
I think the simplest way to promote Barr is to connect him, intellectually and emotionally, to Ron Paul. The folks who want Barr will, by and large, be staunch 2nd ammendment advocates, staunch 16th ammendment opponents, and people who generally want to roll the federal roll to border security, defense, collection of tarrifs, and maintenance of post roads. As a disturbing aside, I've read people who think that the Paul candidacy will shape the Republican future in the same way Goldwater's candidact did in '64.
If you could produce some kind of catchy slogan that conveys the thought "I can't have Ron Paul, so I'm voting Bob Barr" and get it onto a venue like CafePress, where it could be marketed.... and maybe get some red-state dems to start a whispering campaign among Ron Paul supporters. Another tactic is to study the tactics of those who tried to get Nader included in debates, and support similar efforts for Barr. Make sure he's there with Barack and McSame at every opportunity.
