I just hear the news at the bottom of the hour, which consisted of two stories, followed by traffic, weather, and ads

the second story quoted the latest attack ad about Obama playing basketball instead of visiting the troops.....swear to god.

they said that the Obama camp responded that the Pentagon made it difficult to go, or something like that

the POINT is, what on earth are they using their NEWS to publicize a vicious, LYING republican attack ad? this is the second highest rated radio station in Chicago (not positive, but they're way up there...used to be number 1), generating multi-millions in ad revenue

Obama had BETTER address this if he's live on either show he's set to be on. he'd better FORCE the issue on this....FORCE the media to deal immediately that he was SANDBAGGED, and the news stories that are going out are giving the McCain side of it, which is FALSE

I'm afraid this is the beginning of a trend like the one that sank Dukakis and Kerry, with vicious, mendacious ads that became viral in the news cycle, and became implanted in the public's mind before they had a chance to be dispelled

if the pattern holds, the ONLY thing the dems can do is KEEP bringing it up, and denouncing it as a lie, and McCain as a slimy, desperate coward (in a civilized manner, of course), and NOT let it drop. they have to play it the way the pugs do, except their "outrage" is never real, it's outrage at actually being called on their bullshit

the M$M will carry heavy water for McCain on this, and dems will be ON THEIR OWN, which means they'll have to holler to the heavens until they force the media to pay attention to the truth, for once
