4. I'm thinking Richardson will probably be Obama's pick.
I'd prefer Feingold, Sebelius or Clark, but who knows - it could be someone we never thought of.

6. Obama already.....
...has the Hispanic vote wrapped up. Richardson has a past that will bite him in the butt. We don't need that.

2. I hope it's not anyone in the Senate unless it's a secure Dem seat.
I have this insane fantasy of 60 Dems in the Senate.

3. I'm still pulling for Brian Schweitzer.
He's a real longshot, but I think he'd be the best choice.

14. I think I'm stalking you with agreement.
:P

I think he helps alot in the Mountain west. I also think he's attractive to rural white males in particular. Plus, his story is a good one to tell, which will grab the media's attention.

12. John Edwards
because he is closest to Obama's political outlook. Richardson, second, because he came out early for Obama and tipped the scale from H.C. and took so much flack from the Clinton people for doing so. Obama is so far ahead of McCain he doesn't have to consider the usual 'balance the ticket' rule.

13. Edwards - Great as Attorney General. Adds nothing as VP.
I'm looking forward to watching him rip up the corporate media.

17. Schweitzer.....Biden has bank and lender millstone around his neck
Edited on Sun Jul-27-08 03:29 PM by tokenlib
Obama has been too vocal about bank and lender abuses and the mistake Hillary and McCain made supporting bankruptcy reform. Sorry Biden fans--

But at this point, I'd put money on Kaine...

19. Schweitzer played footsie with Mitt Romney
He said that he could endorse Romney if he were the GOP nominee. If Evan Bayh or Harold Ford said anything remotely close to that, you'd be apoplectic, so Schweitzer doesn't deserve a free pass.

Not going to happen.
