Associated Press - July 27, 2008 12:34 PM ET

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Barack Obama is returning to Iowa with a campaign stop planned in Cedar Rapids.

Aides said Obama will campaign in Cedar Rapids on Thursday, holding a town hall meeting and round table discussion with victims of this summer's record flooding. Campaign spokesman Brad Anderson confirmed plans for the visit.

It will be the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's second visit to Iowa since winning the state's precinct caucuses last January.

Obama had planned a June 11 stop in Cedar Rapids but canceled his plans at the request of Gov. Chet Culver because of flooding in the city.
