McCain says, "If I had been there, I would have visited the troops."

Isn't this the same JackHole who said, "If I had been president I would I have had them land Air force one in
New Orleans during Katrina."

Then Keith O. Finds pics of McCain with Bush, celebrating his birthday standing next to air force one, while families
were being devastated by Katrina.

Ugggghhhhh why don't they report this? I am watching Morning Joe and They are Pissed that Obama has jumped up 9 points
in the polls, so they are pushing this, he didn't go visit wounded troops crap. And reporting that the Pentagon
said they only said no Camera. Is this the same pentagon that has been lying to us for almost 10 years?
The same Pentagon who sent out TV Correspondents to report made up information to get us in a war?
Is it that Pentagon. HM I think they are lying now. I could be wrong, but their track record tells me they can't
be trusted EVER!

4. He failed to visit them in March...

Why didn't McCain want to see the troops in March?
The curious thing about John McCain's dishonorable attack on Barack Obama is that McCain himself visited Europe in March, but didn't visit the wounded troops in Landstuhl, Germany.

It's true that McCain's trip to Europe bypassed Germany -- he only went to London and Paris. But as you can see in the map below, it turns out that London and Berlin are about the same distance from Landstuhl, and Paris is just a four hour drive away.

So if McCain wanted to visit the troops, it would have been trivial to arrange -- no seismic event needed. But it's clear McCain didn't want to visit them, and as a result, it should be fair to ask McCain why he now feels entitled to attack Barack Obama.

5. Why doesn't the Obama campaign provide the facts here
That is was the Pentagon who stopped him from seeing the troops in Germany?

The Mc Goo campaign is using one visit that didn't take place to drive the wedge into the Obama express. Conveniently they have left out all the other visits he did have.

9. The trip to Germany was funded by the campaign unlike the rest of the trip
the other part of the trip was a congressional delegation. The Pentagon said it considered it a campaign trip because of that. My understanding is the Pentagon did not forbid it outright.

I expect we will be punished. We are not behaving well. In fact we appear to be a bit out of control.
