The Truth About Larry’s “Soldier” Email

El Primo Douche!
Last night during his “Rense” Interview, Larry made reference to an email “he had received” from a soldier about Obama “shunning” soldiers while on his trip to the Middle East. Larry seemed “proud” to be receiving such news from the “front lines” and while he didn’t say so, he indicated that soldier(s) were writing HIM to give them their impressions of Senator Obama.
What BULLSHIT!
Our friend Yankee Clipper found the following report….proving the accusations about the snub were NOT TRUE and further proving the “email” had not come to Sinclair at all!
Enjoy!
Larry Sinclair, the Internet’s most prolific peddler of rumors, lies, innuendo and half-truths about all things Obama or, any one who challenges Larry’s fairy tales, appeared on the Jeff Rense radio program last night for a little more self promotion. During his appearance Sinclair claimed he received e-mails from two G. I’s alleging Senator Obama had “shunned” the troops during his recent trip to the Mid east. Unfortunately for Rense and Sullivan, late yesterday the Army angrily refuted and debunked those claims.
Jeff Rense, a radio talk show host who the U.S. State Department identifies on its web site as a “conspiracy theorist,” as well as a source for “a great deal of unreliable information,” regularly plays host to Sinclair and his wild-eyed theories of sexual escapades, drug use, murder and thuggery by Senator Obama, his supporters and bloggers who dare to challenge Sinclair’s warped fantasies and hallucinations.
http://usinfo.state.gov/media/Archive/2005/Jul/27-595713.html Sinclair’s latest allegations, posted on his blog, are contained in an e-mail that spread across the Internet and military blogs like wild fire in the last few days. The e-mail was apparently written by an intelligence officer from the Utah National Guard stationed at Bagram Airbase.
According to the officer’s e-mail, Senator Obama shunned soldiers while on his way to a recreational facility known as the Clamshell. The officer further asserts, “as the soldiers where
lined up to shake his hand he blew them off,” preferring to “take his publicity pictures playing basketball.”
Furious Army officers refuted the intelligence officer’s claims. A spokeswoman for Bagram, Army Lt Colonel Rumi Nielson-Green stated, “these comments are inappropriate and factually incorrect.” She also pointed to military regulations prohibiting uniformed military personnel from making such political statements.
Today’s New York Daily News reports Lt Colonel Nielson-Green as saying, Obama ’didn’t play basketball at Bagram or visit the Clamshell. Further, home-state troops were invited to meet him, but his arrival was kept secret for security reasons.’
“We were a bit delayed … as he took time to shake hands, speak to troops and pose for photographs,” Nielson-Green said.
The Daily News further reports that ‘e-mails to the officer responsible for the charges and a call to his wife were not returned.’
Undoubtedly, there will be a new post placed on Sinclair’s blog alleging a conspiracy and cover up by the U.S. Army
