1. Check this out
We have been offered an astonishing opportunity to place the Kennedy-Palast investigative findings on a national, prime-time, major-network television broadcast. Plus, separately, we have an extraordinary offer to create a series of reports for national network radio.

But guess what? The networks will NOT PAY for our public service reports. We have to raise the start-up funds in the next two weeks to film it, record it and get it on the airwaves.

WE need YOU to fund the reports, DISSEMINATE the findings as we post the print, audio and video on the web– and ACT on it.

So, for only the second time this year, I am asking each one of you to make a tax deductible donation to the non-profit, non-partisan Palast Investigative Fund of $500, $150 or $100.

Progressives have complained for years of no opportunity to get the hard, cold sweaty truth on the air. Well, put your money where your heart and soul is.

Donate at least $500, I’ll send you every book I’ve written and every film, signed.

Send $150 and I’ll send you as a gift, a copy of John Ennis' film Free For All, the brilliant and funny film about the Theft of Ohio. AND I'll send you, signed, a copy of my book, Armed Madhouse, plus a copy of the BBC/Democracy Now film investigations, The Election Files and a copy of the spoken word CD Live from the Armed Madhouse all signed.

Donate $100, and I’ll send you 3 copies, one signed to you, of “The Elections Files, “ the best of our BBC/Democracy Now films – including special never-broadcast interviews with Kennedy and fired prosecutor David Iglesias.

2. Couple that with the electronic voting machines
then throw in a complacent media and the recipe is for disaster.

4. Well, if you believe this
then you get out and work extra hard so Obama wins by such a large margin that they can't steal it, only make it look closer than the actual count.

6. I have to admit that......
....there are times that I wonder if the reason McCain is running such a crappy campaign is that he knows it's already been "won" for him

7. Republicans have used multiple methods of election fraud that Palast has documented
Greg Palast's continuing reports on the issue are very important because he highlights the non-software Republican methods like caging lists, voter registration updates that force people to vote on provisional ballots and leaving those uncounted, the robocalls and fliers misdirecting voters, challenging voters at the polls to delay the process in Democratic districts, etc.

A very popular Republican method is getting your partisans into the Secretary of State's office and helping them "update" the voter registration rolls and purge "unqualified" voters.

Palast has investigated and is reporting that such methods are in heavy use in 2008 as well:

In swing-state Colorado, the Republican Secretary of State conducted the biggest purge of voters in history, dumping a fifth of all registrations. Guess their color.

In swing-state Florida, the state is refusing to accept about 85,000 new registrations from voter drives – overwhelming Black voters.

In swing state New Mexico, HALF of the Democrats of Mora, a dirt poor and overwhelmingly Hispanic county, found their registrations disappeared this year, courtesy of a Republican voting contractor.

In swing states Ohio and Nevada, new federal law is knocking out tens of thousands of voters who lost their homes to foreclosure.

Palast told us before the polls closed in 2000 that he had documented Republicans manipulating the "updating" of voter registration rolls in Florida to eliminate tens of thousands of African American votes and we did nothing. The BBC carried his report but the U.S. media dropped the story after calling Jeb Bush's office because Jeb said the story was false.

Palast investigated and reported on methods of election fraud used in 2002 and 2004, yet not enough has changed. More people know about election fraud but many electronic voting systems still don't provide auditable paper trails. We are also ignoring a lot of other malfeasance, including garden variety discrimination by the intentional distribution of too few machines to Democratic precincts or giving them the most problematic machines, and the purging/updating of voter rolls.

I have contributed to Palast's investigative fund and hope you do too.

8. That's a given.
I think they'll declare the elections invalid because they are unverifiable, after having made them so.
That's what pukes do, they break your legs then shoot you in the head because you can't walk.

11. I think the Bush cabal wants McCain to jump on this hot potato.
They're saving Jeb back for 2012 or 2016, poised to run and win the GOP nod with ease. They need it all to cave in the next few years, for someone else to have to deal with the problems, and they need McCain to be the scapegoat for this year.
