Ousted Delegate: "I'm finished with the party, the Democrat (sic) party."
Ousted Wisconsin Democratic Delegate Speaks

July 28, 2008 12:33 PM

Debbie Bartoshevich is that former Democratic delegate from Wisconsin who supported Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, and vowed to vote for Sen. John McCain. The Wisconsin Democratic Party took away her convention credentials.

Now she's speaking to the press (watch HERE.)

"I have a right to vote for anybody I want to vote for," she says. "I'm putting my country before my party...I'm finished with the party, the Democrat party."

Anyone who calls it "the Democrat party" -- the pejorative used by Republicans -- seems halfway to GOPville anyway.

8. Well boo hoo, Debbie. Why don't you ask the Republicans to make you a delegate?
And good luck with that.

Yes you do have the right to vote for anyone you wish.
And the Democratic Party has the right to ask that their delegates support the party nominee.

11. Buh bye
All these nasty venomous women threatening to leave the "Democrat" party fucking crack me up. They'd sacrifice the POTUS & SCOTUS just to throw one last temper tantrum over Hillary's loss. They are utterly ridiculous and childish sore losers.

Sacrificing our country's best interest over sour grapes... that's the most unpatriotic thing I can think of... and I don't WANT them in my DemocratIC party.

Debbie, don't let the door hit'cha where the good Lord split'cha.

14. I am female...and I don't understand women either...
when I was in Florida I knew some women that would vote for a Republican pro-choice woman before they would vote for a Democratic pro-choice male candidate. I never understood. I grew up with Gloria Steinem and Bella Abzug as my heroes but I never have believed that a candidate choice should be based on gender or race. We lose our way when we look so narrowly at things.

I can assure you..some of those women in Florida are probably in the same camp with this idiot. Good riddance.

17. It's called being white and privileged
A McCain presidency probably won't affect them personally so they can afford to "make a statement".

I heard one of them say that she was not of childbearing age anymore so why should she care if Roe v. Wade is overturned? Short-sighted, selfish, privilaged, and STUPID.

Fucking troll was never a Democrat to begin with. Maybe a DLC'er, but that's probably even a stretch.

BTW, she's the next scheduled guest on that fucking joke called "PUMA radio". Tune in for a good laugh. The links can be found on the Capital Troll site.

29. Oh, she's the latest PUMA martyr.
I ended up writing an article on it here:

http://www.yestodemocracy.com/yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/2008/07/pumas-newest-ma.html

Basically their spin was that the evil nasty DNC kicked her out for supporting Sen. Clinton. No, she was kicked out for supporting Sen. McCain and breaking the rules and pledges she made when she became a delegate. Her replacement is ANOTHER Clinton delegate.

Why does it seem like PUMA is angry at the DNC for not letting them break the rules they want to break??

30. Because any PUMA's who are even remotely "Democrats" are DLC'ers
And DLC'ers don't believe any Democratic Party rules apply to them, which is why they can't get over their hatred of Howard Dean.

"I'm putting my country before my party...". Sounds like a coordianted talking point amongst the Hillary stalwarts.
