McCain Had Mole Removed says Andrea Mitchel on MSNBC |
|
The mole is being tested say his doctors. Wonder if that was the reason for the band-aid and NOT hittig his head on the car door? If so...he is a liar.

17. I've had the weirdest feeling and told my kids way back when that I don't think McCain |
|
is going to be the Repub candidate on the ballot in November.
But I think they're going to wait till it's even closer to November, so they can throw someone relatively unknown into that slot and there will be no time for vetting.
Then again, I also thought it was going to rain yesterday and it was a brilliantly sunny day...

somewhere here on DU a few weeks ago, someone predicted that McCain would not end up the official nominee. .at the time, I thought, well, it sounds kind of crazy, but it also felt quite plausible. Since then, that prediction has stuck in my mind. So many strange things have happened in this election so far, I think it quite likely that there is more strangeness to come.

just doesn't seem like any Repub's are touting McCain as their party's candidate. I mean, can you ever remember an election year where the R's are so uniformly quiet? Unless they know it's a lost cause and are letting McCain get it out of his system so they can swing back in four years and put up another candidate... it's just kind of eerie.

There is nothing to "worry" about. It was just a precautionary procedure. The piece of skin removed for testing was on the side of his head that has not been stricken with melanoma.

I'm sure it's probably nothing, as someone with McCain's skin will probably routinely have moles removed, the majority of them proving to be benign.

48. The best place to study is your own skin. Honestly, I never used |
|
any internet sites (I have found the internet too scary to explore when you have cancer). What to look for are moles that are not perfectly round or are multi colored. Mine developed on my arm and it was shaped like a crescent moon. Then a couple of months later a pink color formed inside the crescent moon. It looked strange, so I went to the doctor, and he removed it. He thought it would be nothing, but it was Stage 1 Melanoma.
The point is you need to get skin checks. Once a year, or if you've had problems in the past twice a year. And keep an eye on your skin. Look for new moles and make sure they are nicely round and brown.
BTW, part of the reason why I went in to get mine checked, was I had just read a McCain article in the New Yorker where it talked about his Melanoma at length. So, you know, I'll never hate the guy.

51. Yet another reason McCain will not pick Romney or Ridge. |
|
Religious Repukes are going to be thinking very hard about McCain's health and age and the very good chance that he will not make it through a full term. If he picks Romney or Ridge it's over for him. They aren't going to take the chance of electing McCain and putting people that used to have pro-choice and pro-gay records in line to be president. This is especially true for Romney. They are not going to take the chance of having a Mormon as president.
